                              RESOLUTION NO. 20754
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE 
                   BRAINERD AREA ZONING PLAN.

       	    	 WHEREAS, the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional 
       Planning Commission has recommended to the City Council of the 
       City of Chattanooga that the Brainerd Area Zoning Study be 
       adopted; and
       	    	 WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and discussed 
       said Zoning Study;
                                NOW, THEREFORE,
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Brainerd Zoning Plan be and the 
       same is hereby approved; said Plan is attached hereto and 
       incorporated herein by reference. 
       	    	 
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Chief Building Official 
       is directed not to issue any building permits for any structures 
       other than for a use in an R-1 Residential Zone pending the final 
       rezoning of the area referenced in the Brainerd Area Rezoning 
       Plan, provided that this moratorium shall not in any event be 
       effective beyond December 15, 1995.
       
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this approval shall be 
       subject to the following conditions:
            	 1.   Excepting the property at 12 Sequoia Drive.
